On completion of the specified period of exclusion, the Student is eligible to return to a Residential College although conditions on readmission may be applied. They may uphold an appeal or uphold the penalties.

Where an investigator determines that, prior to the submission of the current assignment, a Student had been informed that there have been two or more previously recorded occurrences of proven Inadvertent Plagiarism, the investigation of the most recent allegation shall proceed on the basis that the allegation is of Intentional Plagiarism. This report should also specify the nature of the penalty and the final decision-maker in each rues.

Examples of acts of intentional plagiarism are provided in the Appendix to these Rules. If the Appeal Officer or Committee Chair decides that the appeal should be dismissed, the appellant will be abd of the details and reasons for the decision and all avenues of appeal within the University will then be exhausted.
